What is chartisan?
Colloquially chartisan is “an individual who has perfected the art of chart building for presentations” (cit. www.urbandictionary.com). Chartisan GmbH was founded in early 2014, with the aim of offering perfect visualisations of management data as an online service.
What does visualisation of management data mean, exactly?
On the basis of the information and data supplied to us, chartisan will create tables, charts and if required, text, resulting in clear, compelling business communications.
In which formats must the files be uploaded?
Any one of the following file formats would be ideal: xls, xlsx, doc, doc, ppt, pptx, pdf. However, you can also submit files in other common formats.
Which formats does chartisan supply?
We can supply the following file formats: xls, xlsx, doc, doc, ppt, pptx, pdf. If you require a different file format, please specify this on your quotation request.
What are chartisan’s delivery times?
Our contractual delivery time is the agreed date, depending on the complexity.
What if I need my visualisations by a certain date?
Please notify us of your required by date on your quotation request. Once we have confirmed your requested date, this becomes a contractually binding delivery date.
How do I engage chartisan’s services?
Go to our website: www.chartisan.com, and request a quotation from us. It is important that you provide us with certain information about your order. The text fields on our website will help you with this. Within 24 hours, you will then receive a binding quotation from us, which you merely need to confirm.
What design options are available to me?
The order form contains various different designs that you can choose from. You can also let us know about any special requirements in the text field provided.
This is really important data. How does chartisan ensure quality?
Chartisan work on the dual control principle. Each and every order is examined by our internal quality control department before it is supplied to you.
How do I know that my order has been completed?
You will receive an email from us, notifying you that your visualisation is in the customer portal, ready for you to download.
How do I receive my visualised data?
Go to our website: www.chartisan.com, and log in to the customer portal using your login data. Your files are available and ready for download.
How does chartisan deal with requests for alterations?
Once you have received your visualisations, we request that you check them immediately and notify us of any errors. If, despite all our best efforts, an error has crept in, we will of course correct it.
How is payment made? Will I receive an invoice?
Chartisan will invoice the customer for our services at the agreed price, plus value added tax at the applicable rate. As a rule, chartisan will email you an invoice in PDF format once your order has been completed and made available for download.
What if my delivery address and invoice address are different?
No problem. You can either record a separate invoice address in your account, or inform us when you request a quotation.
Who has the rights to use the visualised data?
The visualisations created by chartisan are subject to copyright protection. Chartisan is liable for ensuring that the client will, in the context of what is legally permissible, be granted rights of use and exploitation without limit in terms of time, content and geography. (see also GTC 4)
What happens to my data once the order has been completed?
That’s up to you! chartisan provide you with the option of storing your data on our server, so that it can be used in future projects. Alternatively, you can request that the data used in your order is deleted. However, this means that it is no longer available for use in future projects, for example for reference purposes or for requests for alterations.
How can chartisan guarantee the security of my data?
Are there any services that chartisan cannot provide?
Chartisan do not offer software implementation.
